The Dymax 3-20794 is a See-Cure, color-changing adhesive formulated with Ultra-Red fluorescing technology. Designed for rapid assembling of plastic housings, laminations, and other appliance-assembly applications, the adhesive’s bondable substrates include PC, PET, PS, PU, PVC, and ABS. When exposed to highintensity UV light, the adhesive cures in fractions of a second for faster processing, greater output, and lower assembly costs.

With See-Cure technology, the adhesive starts out bright blue in color in its uncured state, making it visible on substrate surfaces, in deep wells, or when sandwiched between two layers of materials. The blue color is only temporary; it disappears when sufficient light energy has been provided to the adhesive bond area to achieve full cure. As the adhesive cures, the blue color fades and turns clear upon full cure.

With the Ultra-Red fluorescing feature, the adhesive can be visually detected when exposed to low-intensity black light before and after curing. The red fluorescence doesn’t absorb the same light-energy wavelengths as those used to cure the adhesive, resulting in faster and deeper cures. The fluorescing technology permits accurate bond-line inspection.
