A fully automated system for component parts can make fastening easy.

A fully automated system for component parts can make fastening easy. Using a hopper-fed delivery system, it aligns and presents the fastener to the application using a hose and airdriven mechanism. With a cycle time of two sec, it can be applied to panel fasteners, Christmas tree clips, canoe clips, ratchet fasteners, push-pin fasteners, drive-pin rivets, and palnuts. The pneumatic drive ensures secure, consistent, and proper seating of the fasteners. Ease of part manipulation and a balanced driver reduces repetitive stress levels associated with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and other muscular-skeletal disorders.
