Ball Valves

April 27, 2006
The Series Type 175/176/177/178 electrically actuated ball valves and Series Type 275/276/277/278 pneumatically actuated ball valves offer high stability and excellent flow.

Housed in PP-GV 30, the three-way valves work with aggressive fluids and in harsh settings as those for diverting and mixing liquids in piping systems. Both Series are available in PVC, CPVC, PP, and SYGEF-PVDF in sizes from 20 to 63 mm with EPDM and FPM seals. Features include a 250,000-actuator cycle life and modular design for space savings and flexibility.

The electrically actuated ball valves have a vertical (Type 178) or horizontal (Types 175, 176, and 177) configuration. They incorporate the EA 21 actuator, which has an integrated emergency manual override and automatic voltage and frequency adjustment. The EA 21 has an automatic voltage adjustment of 100/20 Vac or a 24-ac/dc power module.

Features of the pneumatically actuated ball valves include vertical (Type 278) or horizontal (Types 275, 276, and 277) configurations, manual-override option, stroke limiter for valve-stop adjustment, an ISO/NAUMR connection interface, extra limit switches, and a 1,000- potentiometer for position feedback.
