Capture Digital-Product Definitions Inside CAD

Sept. 28, 2006
The Airframe Design Environment package works with Catia V5, Pro/E Wildfire, and NX systems in the design and manufacture of airframes.

It lets users capture and communicate digital-product definitions inside CAD. For example, the software lets users link process requirements, such as hole specifications, and manufacturing instructions, such as the application of sealants, associatively to the geometry of the 3D model. The software then generates data for ERP, procurement, manufacturing, and quality directly from the 3D definition.
