New configurable locating pins for jigs and fixtures eliminate the need for engineers to draw custom pins and have them machined in-house or outsourced, saving considerable time and expense. The pins are available in a broad size and style range, round or diamond shape, with or without shoulders, for setscrew or nut fixing, in 4137/SCM415 steel or 304/440C stainless, with optional hardening or carburization surface treatments.

Engineers can specify diameter, body, and shoulder in 0.1-mm increments and length in 1-mm increments. Pins come in flat position, wrench flats, tip angle, relief at thread end, and shouldertop radius designs. Standard production time is eight days with an minimum order and no tooling/setup charge.
