Dental and Medical Bearings

A new line of bearings aimed at the medical and dental markets offers a variety of retainer materials and designs for quiet and smooth operation of hand tools.

The bearings can withstand standard sterilization techniques, and temperatures in excess of 250°F (121°C). Autoclave-resistant retainers can be made of Phenolic and Torlon (polyamide-imide). The bearings are also made of corrosion-resistant 440C. The full-shoulder design prevents disassembly during handling and installation and they are lubricated with food-safe and autoclave-resistant grease. Bearings can be customized with simple flanges or intricate lubrication grooves and O-ring housings
