Dip Rotaries

Nov. 18, 2004
The DR Series of DIP rotaries is available in both real and compliment codes identified by a color-keyed actuator.

The units have highly visible legends and offer a choice of screwdriver, shaft, and dial-adjusted or knob actuators. Designers can specify arrow or dot indicators, 10 or 16 position switches, and select between straight PC, bracketed PC, and right-angle mount versions. To protect against splashed or sprayed liquids, an optional panel-seal mount can be installed with the behind panel O-ring. The rotaries feature an ultrasonically welded case, O-ring sealed actuator, and insert-molded terminals to seal out flux and other contaminants and to allow automated wave soldering and washing. Switch rating is 100 mA @ 5 Vdc and nonswitch rating is 100 mA @ 50 Vdc. The rotaries have a flammability rating of UL94V-0 for the housing, actuator, case, and base.
