Drylin WQ Square Rails

Oct. 7, 2004
DryLin WQ square rails more evenly distribute loads and lower rail friction than round ones.

A plastic liner lets the slide float and realign to accommodate differences in heights. The plastic liners are made of the polymer, iglide J200. The use of square rails and iglide J200 lower friction by up to 20% compared with the companys round rails. Iglide J200 also cuts wear rates by 34%. The DryLin WQ line comes in single and multiple rail models in sizes 20 and 6 mm; additional sizes are on the way. DryLin linear guides are maintenance-free, oil-free, and self-lubricating. Unlike ball bearings, contaminants cannot build up in DryLin, which prevents performance degradation or shaft damage. Applications include packaging, printing, and machine tools.
