The 2300 and 5300 Series of DustPruf conveyors feature SmartSlot technology designed into the frame. SmartSlot provides the integration and add-on capabilities of a T-slot without the drawbacks of slots that collect contaminants or debris.
The “dustproof” conveyors are the result of a streamlined frame design that eliminates all catch points where particulates or debris can collect. An FDA-approved, low-friction coating on the bedplate lets the unit operate more efficiently by reducing the friction between the bedplate and conveyor belt, resulting in 20% higher capacity.
Because the smooth conveyor frame has no slots, the SmartSlot system of self-tapping screws and a cordless drill quickly attach any necessary guiding and automation accessories. Small indentations on the conveyor’s frame directs customers to the best place to install additional components.
The 2300 Series features widths between 2 in. and 2 ft; 24-ft lengths; and motor placement at the end or center of the conveyor. The 5300 Series features widths between 8 in. and 3 ft (in 2-in, increments); 83-ft lengths; end, nosebar, curve and nosebar-curve models; and speeds to 260 fpm.
