Electric Linear Actuators

July 27, 2006
The DGEA cantilever electric linear actuator features a slide unit that remains stationary while the profile moves axially.

It is suited for spaceconstrained multiaxis configurations because the motor and cables remain fixed, minimizing the moving mass to just the load and aluminum profile. The toothed-belt driven actuator has an internal recirculating ball-bearing guide and comes in two mounting configurations. The unit offers speeds to 3 m/sec, repeatability of ±0.05 mm, stroke lengths to one meter, and sizes of 18, 25, and 40 mm.
