DFLX Lamps combine a patented membrane with proprietary electroluminescent (EL) phosphors

ELECTROLUMINESCENT KEYPAD LIGHTING

and a resin system to create ultraflexible, thin (0.004 in.) lamps that don't need polyester film substrates. The durable lamps have a supple rubbery composition similar to a thin coat of latex paint. They have been subjected to over one million actuations in keypad applications with no degradation. They can be folded, creased, and pierced with no performance loss. Target markets include keypads for cellular phones, smartphones, remote controls, and cordless phones.
