Ryton R-4-260 is a 40% fiber-glass-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) with low outgassing.

It flashes 50% less than current high-elongation PPS compounds during molding and produces parts with good mechanical strength, toughness, and weld-line integrity. The PPS meets all the 200/220 C UL RTI and UL 94 V-O requirements and passed UL 746C certification for UV exposure for high-intensity light housings in the emerging HDTV market.
