Emergency Stop Switch

Dec. 14, 2006
The ER Series rope-pull emergency-stop switch covers 40 to 200 m for emergency stopping (E-stop).

All models come with a metal E-stop button that can be top mounted at the switch end of an installation. Also available is a dual-indicator LED beacon that can be wired to flash red or glow a constant green to indicate switch status. The switches' snap-action operation protects against nuisance tripping due to vibration. When a pulled or slacked rope actuates the switch, a blue reset button must be pushed to return to a "machine-run" condition. Models ER1022 and ER1032 feature four N/C safety contacts and two N/O auxiliary contacts, while Models ER5018 and ER6022 have two N/C and one N/0 or three N/C contact arrangements. Also featured is a highly visible and easy-to-read tension indicator.
