A Series of explosionproof Micro Switches serve in valve-actuation applications for petrochemical plant and offshore-drilling facilities.

EXPLOSIONPROOF SWITCHES

The BX, CX, and LSX limit switches monitor linear and rotary valves. They are built for outdoor use in hazardous atmospheres. The LSX enclosure is sealed for protection against corrosion, water, dust, and oil. It comes with a number of conduit selections, a variety of heads, and nonsparking actuators. It also has a 10-A continuous-carry electrical rating and fluorocarbon/low-temperature sealing. It is UL listed and CSA certified. BX switches carry all the features of the LSX Series and have European ATEX approval. The CX Series features either a short or standard rugged cast-aluminum housing option and is designed so that pretravel, overtravel, and actuating sequences may be field adjusted without tools. Rotary types convert in seconds to clockwise, counterclockwise, or both-way operation. The CX limit switches also have ATEX approval.
