Flat Silicone Cable

Sept. 13, 2007
Custom-shaped flat silicone cable routes without folding, kinking or pinching.

Custom shapes eliminate signal failures from physical stress at the cable connector. The cables come in 4 to 44-awg wire gauges. A proprietary extrusion process lets multiple wires reside in a flat cable, which controls wire spacing, insulation thickness, and overall cable shape. Benefits of the silicone-coated cables include high flexibility, extremely long life, and operation in –65 to 260°C temperatures.
