Foam-In-Place Gaskets

Nov. 4, 2004
Latches and handles for industrial NEMA-4 enclosures feature foam-in-place gaskets, eliminating the need for separate gaskets.

The UL polyurethane foam gasket is resistant to oil, water, ozone, general weathering, and many chemicals. All swing handles and almost all zinc, stainless, and GR nylon quarter-turn latches now have the F-i-P gaskets. The Smart Hardware line consists of handles, locking systems with master keying, single and multipoint latches, hinges, gasketing, and EMI shielding materials.
