Four-Quadrant Photodiode

April 14, 2005
The SiQu50-TIA combines a four-quadrant photodiode with internal amplifiers within a 0.5-in.-diameter housing.

Operation voltage is 3 to 18-Vdc single sourced. Total sensing area is 50 mm2 with a spectral response from 400 to 1,100 nm. Current generated by the photodiodes is amplified through an internal 10,000-k transimpedance gain stage producing an output voltage per quadrant. Dual power supply and UV-enhanced versions are available.
