Fuel Cell For Laptops

The XRT is a fuel cell for emergency response applications such as portable radio and laptop battery recharging, as well as a battery replacement for emergency lighting and critical communication devices like satellite phones and modems.

It weighs only 50 lb but provides the energy of four 45-A-hr batteries weighing over 100 lb. It includes six N-Stor360 fuel canisters, providing up to 2,200 W-hr (180 A-hr) of runtime, one 100-W NGen fuel cell power unit, and 110-Vac and 12-Vdc outputs. It is hot-swap capable for continuous, uninterrupted operation and has a digital state-of-fill indicator to identify remaining runtime.
