Graphic design house Perennial Inc., Toronto, chose a neutral tone palette for Sleeman Brewery's Fine Porter.
(www.perennialinc.com), chose a neutral tone palette for Sleeman Brewery's Fine Porter. The colors are reminiscent of craft paper used to package handcrafted scotch products a century ago. The graphic theme builds on a strong combination of color, typography, and lack of photography to reinforce the " handmade" aspect of the limited-supply, seasonal brews. The cartons hold 6 or 12 bottles and feature hand-applied decals on the top that create security seals. Sleeman Brewing also designed a doublesided print on the bottle label that unveils as the beer is consumed.
