Handheld Terminal

Sept. 28, 2006
The GuardPLC handheld terminal lets maintenance workers program and configure GuardPLC safety controllers and I/O modules without bringing a PC to the plant floor.

Programs can be stored on the terminal's on-board Flash memory or removable multimedia memory cards. The terminal also lets users change parameters such as IP address, safetyrequirements specification, and date and time, and reboot the controller in the event of a safety-stop condition. Programs and data are password protected.
