Laser Through-Beam Sensor

Nov. 3, 2005
Laser through-beam sensors feature high-accuracy optics that operate to 50 m and have a switching frequency of 5 kHz.

The device's narrowly focused beam allows detection of very small objects. A potentiometer sets sensitivity. A sharply concentrated 660-nm red laser beam indicates alignment. The sensor sits in a short, M18 stainless-steel housing with an excess light indicator. Available versions include either changeover outputs or excess light output (light on).
