Light-Cure Adhesive Protects And Bonds

Jan. 26, 2006
Tru-Bond light-curing adhesives bond in seconds and have service temperatures

ranging from 65 to 225°F. The 18100 Glass, Metal, and Ceramic Bonding Series comes in three viscosities from 205 to 75,000 cps and easily dispenses with syringe applicators or sprayer mists. The 18200 Plastic Bonder Series forms flexible (450% elongation), impact-resistant bonds to ABS, polycarbonate, and acrylic. Three formulations have viscosities from 810 to 80,000 cps, can be dispensed with syringes or spray-mist applicators, and cure through translucent substrates. The 18300 Protective Coating Series produces clear, hard finishes that prevent mars and scratches on decals, tags, and emblems. The thick (2,240 cps) coating adds decorative "dome coatings" to decals mounted on metal or glass. A less-viscous 18305 version creates 0.0001 to 0.0005 in.-thick coatings on thin, flexible substrates.
