Low-outgassing, UV-curing epoxy - Master Bond Inc.

April 19, 2010
The epoxy meets NASA outgassing requirements and has low volume resistivity.

One-component, UV-curable modified epoxy UV10TKLO-2 cures at room temperature when exposed to UV light with wavelengths between 320 and 365-nm. Its low outgassing meets NASA's ASTM E-595 requirement when preheated to 50°C for 15 minutes prior to use and allowed to cool to room temperature.
The epoxy resists chemicals and temperatures between -60 and 300°F, has volume resistivity under 1014 ohm-cm, and has a dielectric constant of 3.6 at 60 Hz. It comes in half-pint, pint, quart, and gallon containers that keep for six months at 75°F.
