Medical Adhesive

Sept. 16, 2004
The MG Series of high-molecular-weight rubber-based adhesives are for direct-skin applications including bandages, monitoring sensors, and personal-care items.

The Series is made from a gelatinous thermoplastic that acts like a solid adhesive but conforms like a liquid. It has similar adhesion properties to that of hydrogels but is not water sensitive and won't dry out. The adhesives come on a variety of substrates, including nonwoven fabrics, polyurethane films, and polyethylene and polyurethane foams.
