June 2, 2005
A new Series of band saws cuts structural steel and related steel shapes.

The saw's miter design features a blade head that pivots from an overhead position. Miter positioning eliminates scrap. The band-saw Series comes with openings to 50-in. wide 20-in. high. A 20-hp motor drives a 2.625-in.-wide by 0.0063-in.-thick blade to performance that averages 15 to 20% higher than previous levels.
