    Motion-Control Chips

    Three new motion-control PCL61x3 chips offer linear interpolation, operation-status confirmation, a "look-ahead" buffer, and various homing modes.

    PCL6111 is a one-axis, 80-pin QFP; PCL6123 is a two-axis, 128-pin QFP; and PCL6143 is a four-axis, 176-pin QFP. The chips generate pulse and direction signals in stepper and digital servodrivers for use in medical and biotech stages and lab-automation equipment.
