MicroE Systems announces the MercuryTM II Encoder, which delivers the highest resolution, accuracy, and speed in order to assure the best performance without compromise.

The Mercury II Encoder offers high levels of versatility, offering such features as reels of laser tape up to 50 meters in length, stick-on optical index and limit markers, broad alignment tolerances, and SmartPrecisionTM II Software. The encoder also features programmable resolution, output frequency, and alarms.

Furthermore, the Mercury II features a new optical design that is contamination resistant. It is also designed with fail-safe discrete left and right limits, as well as gain, offset and phase correction.

The Mercury II is RoHS compliant, and with its pushbutton setup and low Z-height sensor, is a product that is undeniably easy to use.
