New Product: Dc/dc converters for trains

Jan. 24, 2008
The DCW 152R Series of dualoutput, 80-W dc/dc converters has two 12-Vdc outputs that are independently regulated, floating, and isolated from each other.

The outputs can be modified in a 5-to-24-V range. The unit can be powered from a 24, 36, 48, 72, or 110-Vdc input with standard EN 50155 supply voltage ranges. Other input and output configurations are available on request. It is designed to meet requirements of EN 50155 for electronic equipment used on railway rolling stock. It also meets EN 50121-3-2 (EMI and EMC) and EN 55022 Class B EMI. The unit features full electronic protection on the input and output. This Series is ruggedized and conformal coated for operation in demanding environments. Cooling is mainly by conduction via the base plate, assisted by convection. It operates in temperatures from –25° to 55°C (Class T1).
