New Product: Pluggable Electrical Connector System

March 20, 2008
The gesis IP+ (ingress protection) family of pluggable connectors consist of four basic components: connectors for on-site assembly, preassembled plug-in distribution units, cut-to-length overmolded cable assemblies, and panel-mount or device connectors.

The ready-to-install units speed installation by eliminating such time-consuming on-site operations as cutting cables to length, stripping cable sheaths and wire insulation, and component connection.

Two family versions are available. The first consists of three and five-pole screw clamp connectors rated to 25 A, 600 V, 10 awg. The second version consists of two to five-pole screw clamp connectors, rated to 10 A, 600 V and 12 awg.
