New Product: Single-Axis Actuator

Feb. 21, 2008
The LX Series single-axis actuator line offers standard or covered styles in three capacities with lower overall stage height to conserve space, and dowel holes in the base plate for accurate and fast assembly.

Base length is configurable down to 10-mm increments.

Features include an extruded, black chrome-plated base with a two-row Gothic arch rail system for stability in all directions of load, a precision ball screw with built-in angular and radial contact bearings built in the support and motor bracket, an integral motor bracket that accommodates most servo/stepper motors, and an integrated ball-screw nut and linear-guide mechanism on the block for precise motion.

The covered style has two dowel holes in the block to improve location repeatability during assembly and maintenance. Its cover and flanged top plate are interfaced for a lower profile and lower overall stage height.

The actuators come in100 to 600-mm lengths, with one or two blocks standard and 1, 2, 5, or 10-mm leads.
