New Product: Transformer oil valves

Oct. 11, 2007
Cardinal heavy-duty transformer-oil valves withstand outdoor exposure on external surfaces and hot oil on internal surfaces.

The valves, from noncorrosive (or a suitably protected) material, work at –40 to 212°F (–40 to 100°C). Overtightening or minor abuse encountered in handling or during factory/field installation will not cause valve malfunction. The fasteners prevent loosening under normal operating conditions. The valve’s operating handle displays open and shut positions and can be manually locked in either position. Available sizes range from 2 to 8 in. including ANSI standard and OEM-specific flange configurations.
