The D160 catalog covers the Shaftloc rotating component fastening device that secures shaft mounted parts, such as pulleys couplings, and gears, to inch and metric shafting. Shaftloc contains all structural features in two parts — a slotted outer sleeve and inner sleeve, both with hexagonal heads. The outer sleeve has a cylindrical outer diameter and a threaded inner diameter. The inner sleeve is the direct opposite. The threads are not symmetrical so it creates a continuous inclined surface. Advantages of Shaftloc include no marring of shafts, easy repositioning or synchronizing, ease of assembly, applicability to small shaft diameters, available in all-stainless construction, and it can be used for stationary breadboard structures. Shaftloc fits , ¼, and ½-in. and 6, 10 and 12-mm shafts.
