The VLT micro variable-frequency drives now come in an M4 frame size covering the three-phase 380 to 480 Vac, 15 to 20-hp range. The drives feature conformal-coated PCBs, provide serial communication via RS-485 Modbus RTU and FC protocols, a detachable Local Control Panel (LCP) with or without a potentiometer, a LCP copy function, and a panel-front mounting kit for the LCP. The drives also come in single-phase 200 to 240-Vac, 0.25 to 2-hp; three-phase 200 to 240-Vac, ½ to 2-hp; and threephase 380 to 480-Vac, 0.5 to 3-hp power range configurations.

Additional features include an Automatic Energy Optimizer function that lets the drive consume less energy, built-in ac and dc brake functions, intelligent heat management, and coated electronics for maximized drive reliability and life.
