The V15 Plug-In valve from Rexroth Mecman, Lexington, Ky.

The V15 Plug-In valve from Rexroth Mecman, Lexington, Ky., connects to the base-plate via an arrangement of integrated electrical contacts. Inserting the valve into the baseplate, simultaneously connects electrical and supply pressure. Quick-release fasteners lock the valves in place, both pneumatically and electrically. The valves can extend and connect to Multipol or other fieldbuses. Both 5/2 and 5/3-way versions and valve units with up to 12 slots are available. A centrally positioned LED shows the valve's switching status. Constructed of lightweight, corrosionresistant materials, the valves are 15-mm wide and have flow rates of 750 lpm for a switching time of just 10 msec.
