Pole-Wound Servomotors

The AM3000 Synchronous Servomotor Series are pole-wound motors featuring a significantly high proportion of "active" copper, which determines the torque, boosting performance by as much as 35% over earlier models.

The motors are characterized by extremely low moment of inertia of the rotor, robust design and high overload capacity. The winding is sealed for mechanical resilience in case of vibrations or other interference. Housings are from a single piece of metal so there is no impact on the stability of the complete motor through material transitions that increase thermal resistance. The motors are offered in seven different flange sizes with torques between 0.18 and 53 Nm and with a wide range of nominal speeds. Other features include rotable plug connectors for power and feedback , pressed bearings to prevent axial motion of the shaft, feedback options for a resolver and single-turn and multiturn absolute encoders, and optional smooth shaft or with groove and feather key.
