The high-resolution KAI- 08050 CCD image sensor is for the machine vision and applied-imaging markets. The sensor provides 8-megapixel resolution at up to 16 fps. A Region of Interest (ROI) mode supports partial readout at higher frame rates, such as 6 megapixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio at 20 fps, or standard VGA — used for fine focusing an image before high-resolution capture — at over 60 fps.
