High-tolerance shaft collars

Shaft collars are single-point faced to ensure a high level of face-to-bore perpendicularity, offering runout of TIR less than 0.05 mm.

Features & benefits

  • One and two-piece clamp styles in bores from 3 to 80 mm

  • Aluminum, black oxide carbon steel, stainless steel, and engineered plastic styles available

  • Ensures components are properly positioned and not tilted on shaft as well as even pressure on interfaced components

  • Clamp style does not mar shaft and wraps around the shaft for high holding power

  • Two-piece does not require removal of other components for installation

Hub and shaft collars

S25FB9 (brass) and S25FY9 (stainless-steel) shaft collars incorporate a built-in bearing shim spacer and feature a Fairloc integral hub fastener.

Features & benefits

  • Fit shafts that are 0.12 to ¾ in. or 3 to 20 mm diameter

  • O.D.s from 0.433 to 1.496 in. or 11 to 38 mm

  • Fairloc hub eliminates marred shafts; permits frequent phase, timing, and position adjustment

  • Cantilevered clamping section accepts cap screw, which passes through hole in hub and into a threaded hole in transverse wedge section
