Quick-Disconnect Power Bus

The PowerRail high-power-distribution system is for applications including routers, motor drives, test equipment, and mass-memory storage.

It uses low-voltage drop-louver contacts in a bus bar, which lets users easily customize the bus-bar length, power input, and mating connections to build a quick-disconnect power bus. The rail comes in single, double, or triple-rail standards. The louver contacts come in silver or tin plating. A powder coating insulates the bar while a 200 to 2k-A power range runs the full length of the rail.
