Quick-Lock Connectors

Nov. 18, 2004
The Speedcon connection system uses a simple half-turn to make a secure, watertight, and vibrationproof connection between cordsets and devices.

Compatible with all standard M12 connectors on the market, Speedcon is said to reduce the time it takes to connect an M12 threaded plug connector by up to 90%. No special adapters are required, making the new connection system backwards, forwards, and future compatible. Speedcon plug connectors fulfill the same requirements for electrical and mechanical properties as the classic M12 plug connector systems. The product range offered includes IP65 and IP67 cordsets, field-wirable, panel-mount connectors, and sensor-actuator boxes. The connection technology is also integrated in the company's Fieldline modular I/O system, providing modules for Profibus, CANopen, DeviceNet and Interbus protocols.
