A lubrication system, specifically designed for rack-and-pinion systems, keeps gears from becoming scratched and worn, causing teeth breakage. The system’s lubrication canister comes in two sizes, depending on the required dose to be dispersed. A sensor attached to the lubrication canister notifies users when lubrication is running low. For ease of use, an exchange lubricator is available when the original lubrication runs dry. Lubrication flows from the canister to the mounting shaft through a plastic hose. The mounting shaft contains holes that lets lubrication pass through to a felt pinion, which disburses lubricant onto either the pinion or rack.
