The Ringfeder Power Transmission GmbH from North Rhine-Westphalian Krefeld and the Gerwah GmbH from Bavarian Grosswallstadt, both based in Germany, will be working together closely in the future, according to a recent company announcement. The Swedish VBG Group is taking over Gerwah GmbH and its associated companies, which include a manufacturing company in the Czech Republic and an American marketing company. The merger of the two companies will take place in early 2009. The trademarks Gerwah and Ringfeder will continue to exist and the personnel structure at Gerwah's headquarters will remain the same.
