Safety Screens

Nov. 9, 2006
The Hi-Bar inlet safety screens protect hydraulic components from contamination-induced failure up to 7,500 psid without burst or collapse.

Unlike conventional inlet filter screen designs, Hi-Bar screens are incorporated directly in the fitting. The design dramatically minimizes space and weight and offers increased flow and dirt-holding capacity. Machined from 15-5PH stainless steel, the screens are rugged enough to withstand pressure differentials to 6,000 psi without burst or collapse. The screens are 100% proof tested and are available in -4, -6, and -8 configurations.
