Irgasurf SR 100 additive boosts scratch resistance

of polypropylene/-thermoplastic olefin (PP/TPO) compounds used in door and instrument panels, as well as exterior parts such as bumper fascias and side trim. The compound can improve scratch performance by up to 15 Newtons in five-finger and crosscut Erichsen tests. The compound performs with various light stabilizers and shows no detrimental surface effects such as stickiness or exudation during processing and use.
