are designed for in-line or in-port " lastchance" protection in hydraulic and fluid systems and are not intended to replace typical filtration equipment. A new line of screen fittings offers nominal ratings from 65 to 480 m in standard sizes of 4 through 12 for use with Triple-Lok 37°flare and Seal-Lok O-ring face seal fittings. Constructed with stainless-steel elements, the 4 size features a basket-style screen and the others are dome style. Applications include protecting gages and instruments, and shielding critical hydraulic components such as pump-compensator controls and proportional and relief valves. They also help prevent precision orifices from clogging. Bulletin 4300-SF details test results such as pressure drop, screen retention, and bidirectional flow capacity.
