Sensor "Sees" Out To 26 FT

May 20, 2004
The QT50U Series of programmable ultrasonic sensors feature a 26-ft sensing range.

This addition to the U-Gage family of ultrasonic products come in analog and discrete models, has a minimum sensing range of 8 in., and uses an advanced microprocessor for reliable sensing. Users program the sensor by two pushbuttons or a hard-wire remote. The remote also disables the pushbuttons to prevent tampering. An eight-pin-DIP switch on the unit's back activates the sensor's temperature compensation feature for constant monitoring and automatic adjustment. The units have two independent near and far limits/output, making it well suited for applications that need distinct high and low-level monitoring.
