Small-Scale Filters

April 27, 2006
HyPulse HyLine filters are for small-scale or batch process filtering in biopharm, chemical manufacture, and the food and beverage industries.

The housings have threaded connections that reportedly improve filtration efficiency compared to gasket-sealed cartridge filters, and can have backlash and blowback capabilities. They come in single and multitube versions with porous metal filters that clean easily and withstand high temperatures and corrosive environments. The sintered porous metal filters are available in titanium, nickel, Hastelloy, Inconel, and 316L stainless steel. Their precise porosity provides uniform flow and distribution of gases and liquids. They can be used to separate gas and solids, liquid and solids, and in steam filtration.
