Software simplifies electrical design

Nov. 9, 2006
Eplan Electric P8 simplifies and automates electrical designs by including a relational graphic database from an earlier version with an object oriented database.

This lets the software act as an engineering center for project management and interdisciplinary design collaboration. The software generates BOMs, PLC codes, and electrical schematics. P8 has almost unlimited output, import/export, and bidirectional file-transfer capabilities.
