Spring Washers

Feb. 8, 2007
CloverDome spring washers let users torque bolt and nut assemblies to a precise, specified spring load.

Gaskets can be compressed between flanges to specified pressures while providing room for the flange assembly to flex within deflection limits. The springs can be torqued 50 to 70% of their dome height. Controlled spring loading and flexibility help facilitate the installation and maintenance of piping in the chemical and oil industries.
