Movidrive B universal motor controllers have extended lower speed range and better overload capacity than previous models.

These inverters come in two versions. The standard version includes integrated positioning and expandable sequence control. The application version includes electronic line-shaft and electronic cam features as well as wizards for applications such as Turntable Positioning (32 discrete points or position via fieldbus), Flying Knife, Winder Control, and more. Motion sequences can be controlled directly in the inverter on the plant floor to off-load programming from the master controller. With eight binary inputs and six binary outputs, these inverters feature flying restart circuits for synchronizing the inverter to a rotating motor, slip compensation for high static accuracy of speed without encoder feedback, and tight torque control for winding, tensioning and pressure forming-applications.
