Hydro-Flow 2300-A insertion vortex flowmeters from Fluidyne, Longmont, Colo., are made of a corrosion-resistant PVDF material. The flow-monitoring devices are used for ultrapure water, acids, and solvents. The Model 2300-A features a microprocessor-based, piezo-resistant vortex sensor with no moving parts. The sensor provides accuracy at flows of 0.3 fps with a 65:1 turndown.
